We are a group of students from Mount St. Mary Academy in Kenmore, New York. We create handmade cards for various holidays and special occasions. Our goal is to give back to the community and raise awareness about mental health.
We are made up of a group of four individuals. Each person has a special part in this card making business. Zorianna Menclewicz focuses on the sketch and then applies the sealant later in the process. Rebecca Shaw and Mia Quarantillo paint the sketch and then lay a base down. Ava Kuty chooses a font and works with it’s color and placement of the words.
In 2020, we had an idea to start this business. We had a talent and decided to put that to good works. Cards For A Cause now has multiple designs printed, ranging from holiday cards to get well cards. We partnered with a local high school to sell Valentine’s Day cards in the past. Right now, there are over 1,000 cards printed and ready to be sold!
